• Chrome-tanned leather is tanned using chromium sulphate and other salts.  It is more supple and pliable than vegetable-tanned leather, and does not  lose its shape as drastically in water as vegetable-tanned leather.  It is also known as wet-blue for its colour derived from the chromium.

Chrome-Tanned Leather is used in the shoe industry, handbag manufacturing, and other leather projects.  We only stock the below Antique Finish.  Other colours are available on request but minimum quantities apply.  Please contact us for a quote.
